Decision

Tepid waters run coastline emerges

membranous surface to make one with

component of ash and froth

those gales subdued back with memories

haranguing an expression with the wild.

The softest feather floats

returning dews of weather oblique and opaque

we fasten our lampoons to cold mist

should we match and last we move on

leaves of trees sashaying another

fall will be there in thicket.

The moon widens a road

through shredding another scale of heights

through labyrinth reminders

shadows dark fall in moonlight

silhouette becomes the night.

Neelam Dadhwal is a poet from Chandigarh, India. Her poems has been published in Readomania, Kritya, Muse India, Indian Poetry Review, Literary Yard, The Unknown Pen and anthologies on women international, peace and humanity. Her latest book, "Footprints" deals with aspects of womanhood.

As a haiku poet, she has been published in Contemporary Haibun Online, Atlas Poetica, Living Haiku Anthology, Haibun Online, World Haiku Association. Her work as a Shahai artist has been exhibited in two group exhibitions in Chandigarh and Panchkula in 2015.
