Author Biography

Dr Maria Miraglia

Educationist, writer, poet and translator, Maria Miraglia was born and lives in Italy. She graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures then got  a Master’s degree in Evaluation followed some time later by a second one  in Teaching of Modern Languages and an HLC from the Trinity College of Edinburgh.

She has been for long an active member of Amnesty international, is a member of the Human Rights’ Observatory, Deputy President for the United World Movement for Children Coordination, she herself founding member of World Foundation for Peace.

Dr Maria Miraglia is  the Literary Director of P. Neruda, honorary member of Nationes Unidas de las Letras, President of the Organization Mundial de los Trovatores,-Italy. She is a member of several editorial boards for poetry and  a contributor to many poetry groups. Her poems have been translated into several languages and have found pride of place in national and international anthologies.She writes both in Italian and English Guest of several festivals for poetry she is  recipient of many awards and recognitions.
