Call for Papers

We are bringing out 3 anthologies on themed subjects.

Original and previously unpublished research papers are invited from academicians, research scholars, students and writers from India for the following books, which will be published by Leaf Press, Pune, India.

1. Title of the book: Contemporary Post-Colonial Literature: A New Perspective

Sub-themes:

  • Post-colonial literature from Africa.
  • Post-colonial literature from the Indian subcontinent.
  • Culture of identity crisis and migration issues.
  • Fiction that questions the idea of nation, nationality and nationalism.
  • Literature of decolonization.
  • Any other theme related to the post-colonial literature.
2. Title of the book: Contemporary Postmodern Literature: Text and Context

Sub-themes:

  • Post-modern literature questioning the grand narratives.
  • Post-modern literature subverting the modernist ethos.
  • Post-modern literature celebrating the fragmentation.
  • Postmodern literature and the idea of closure.
  • Postmodern literature and intertextuality.
  • Postmodern literature and the popular culture.
  • Any other theme related to postmodernism.
3. Title of the book: Contemporary Feminist Literature: Dissent and Avowal

Sub-themes:

  • Gender and literature.
  • Female, feminine and feminist in literature.
  • Radical feminism and literature.
  • Queer, lesbian and transgender in literature.
  • Writing the body in feminist literature.
  • Women and literature.
  • Ecriture feminine in literature.
  • Any other theme related to feminism.

 

Follow these Submission Guidelines

Last date of Abstract submission – 25th September, 2020 (word limit 200 words including keywords)

Last date of submission of full paper- 30th October, 2020

Publication date: By 15th December, 2020

Submission fee: Rs. 1000/- (Multiple submission is acceptable. Calculate the amount accordingly.)

Formatting style of the paper: Comply with the MLA style.

General formatting:  Title (16pt, Times New Roman), summary (12pt, Times New Roman)

Author’s Bio: Include the complete bio of the author mentioning name of the author, designation, name of the department, name of the organization, city, email address and phone number.

Selection Process

Previously Unpublished: The paper should be previously unpublished.

Free of plagiarism: The paper should be free of plagiarism. We will check each paper for plagiarism.

Subject editing: We’re a team of academician and professors. Each paper will be peer-reviewed by the experts in the discipline/subject.

English language: We want the authors must ensure that the papers are well written, well cited, and well edited. However, we will edit if required. Poorly written paper may be declined. Fee once paid will not be returned if the paper is not accepted.

The book will be published by Leaf Press a leading publisher in the English literature with the following features and facilities.
