Author Biography

Pramod Rastogi

Pramod Rastogi obtained his M.Tech from the IIT Delhi, and his Ph.D. from the University of Besançon in France. He is an Emeritus Professor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. He has authored over 180 scientific papers in archival scientific journals and has edited/authored nine books in the field of science and engineering with international publishers such as IOP, John Wiley, Elsevier, Artech-House, Springer Verlag, and CRC Press.

Professor Rastogi is a Member of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences. He is the 2014 recipient of the SPIE Dennis Gabor Award. He is a Fellow of the SPIE and a Fellow of the OSA. He was the Editor-in-chief of the international peer-review journal, “Optics and Lasers in Engineering” between 1999 and 2019.
