Author Biography

Keshab Das

Keshab Das is a professor at the Gujarat Institute of Development Research, Ahmedabad, India.  He holds PhD (Economics) and MPhil (Applied Economics) from the JNU, New Delhi and is a recipient of the VKRV Rao Prize in Economics.

He has been a visiting research fellow or professor at a number of institutions abroad. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication, had a brief stint as a journalist with Indian Express and, currently, is the Executive Editor of Orissa Economic Journal. He has published several short stories in Odia magazines and was adjudged the best short story writer for six consecutive years as a student at the Khallikote College, Berhampur, Odisha.
