About the author
Sangeeta Gupta, is a highly acclaimed artist, bilingual poet and documentary film maker. She served as a bureaucrat, an IRS Officer (1984 batch). After a successful career in the Ministry of Finance, she retired as chief commissioner of income tax (May2018).
About the reviewer
Hema Ravi is a poet, reviewer, independent researcher, resource person (for seminars), event organizer and editor of Efflorescence (published by the Chennai Poets’ Circle).
Her verses and write ups have been featured in several online and international print journals, noteworthy among them being the International Writers Journal, Amaravati Poetic Prism, The Hindu, The New Indian Express., Science Shore Magazine, among others.
She is among the 'Distinguished Writers 2021,' having won the ninth place in the 7th Bharat Award for Literature International Short Story Contest.
Her short story won the first prize in the Pratilipi competition in 2020. She is the author of ‘Everyday English,’ ‘Write Right Handwriting Series1, 2, 3,’ co-author of Sing Along Indian Rhymes’ and ‘Everyday Hindi.’
